Digital Apprentices in the UK Charity Sector
Join Microsoft and Firebrand Training (Digital Apprenticeship Provider of the Year 2018) to explore the benefits of hiring a digital apprentice.
The Microsoft Apprenticeship programme has been running since 2008, supporting many organisations in finding local and new talent for their digital teams. As the pace of technology changes the way in which charities engage, we thought it would be beneficial to explore how charities can get more involved in the opportunities apprenticeships offer and understand how this diverse and dynamic talent can help your charity improve digital capacity and capability.
Kick Off: Dominic Gill, Microsoft Apprenticeship Lead & Liz Penning, Apprenticeship Partner Lead.
Panel Discussion: Hear from a panel of UK charities including Cancer Research UK and National Autistic Society, who will discuss how they have incorporated digital apprenticeship programmes into their future skills strategy, whilst ensuring a diverse and inclusive recruitment strategy.
Case Study: We are delighted to welcome Claire Farnell and John Slator from Concern Group, who will share their experience of hiring a Digital Apprentices before spending some time answering your questions.
Following a Q&A, we invite you to join us for some informal networking over tea and a slice of cake. Light refreshments will also be provided throughout the afternoon.
If you are involved in the hiring of digital talent, or simply eager to learn more about how a Digital Apprentice could benefit your charity, we very much look forward to welcoming you to what promises to be an interesting and informative event.
