Action for Children has launched an online Christmas retail campaign featuring celebrity designed clothing to raise awareness of its support for vulnerable children.

Each item carries a slogan of ‘happy’ and ‘safe’ to promote the charity’s key message of promoting a safe and happy childhood.

Among celebrities to design clothing are Stacey Solomon, Lisa Snowdon, Kara Tointon, Una Healy, Mrs Hinch and Mother Pukka.

The clothing range, being billed as the Action for Children’s Secret Santa campaign, is being launched from 19 November and all items are available from the charity’s dedicated online shop.

T-shirts costs £19 each, while the jumpers are £30.

Social media promotion

The online campaign is also being promoted on social media featuring the hashtag #IAmSanta and focusing on each of the celebrities involved.

“Secret Santa is a popular way of giving presents at Christmas, but it often results in unthoughtful and ultimately unwanted gifts,” said the charity.

“Instead, this Christmas Action for Children are giving people the option to give a gift with meaning, by purchasing a stylish t-shirt or jumper. In doing so they will be raising vital funds for the vulnerable children and young people the charity supports.”
