#DFD2019 Partners: Comic Relief – How to make more by spending less
Fundraising giants Comic Relief join the agenda for Charity Digital’s Digital Fundraising Day 2019.
Comic Relief is well known for its fundraising efforts – Red Nose Day and Sport Relief to name a few ways they raise millions of pounds each year. But what are the digital innovations driving those efforts? Caroline Rennie from Comic Relief’s Digital and Innovation team will be joining the #DFD2019 agenda for an open conversation about how charities can make more by spending less.
The last session of the day will take a slightly different format to others. The first half will be an interview with Product Lead Caroline Rennie, covering the role of digital innovation in Comic Relief’s fundraising and their biggest money-making game-changers to date. Following that, participants will be invited to submit their questions to the experts in an extended Q&A period with the fundraising champions.
Speaker Caroline has worked at Comic Relief since 2016 and has worked to innovate the digital products which support fundraising and the wider organisational need. By utilising commodity tech from great tech partners and only building for bespoke business needs, the Digital & Innovation team has made significant savings for the organisation.
