Christian Aid moves HR processes to the cloud

Christian Aid is using a cloud-based HR app to improve people operations across the 35 countries that it operates in.

Christian Aid has brought in human capital management (HCM) firm Ceridian’s Dayforce mobile app to manage many of its HR processes.

In response to increasing mobility, Christian Aid looked for a strong mobile offering to streamline performance and allow employees, volunteers and managers perform their daily roles.

The new coud-based app allows individuals the freedom to choose what device they use to monitor tasks and freedom from physical location. The charity also looked for a platform to help managers communicating with colleagues in multiple languages through the message centre.

Dayforce brings together data from across the entire employee lifecycle to enable better decision-making, combining HR, payroll, benefits, workforce management, and talent management.

A global challenge

For more than seventy years, Christian Aid has been working in some of the world’s poorest communities where there is a great need, regardless of religion, to provide urgent and effective humanitarian assistance, advocacy, and development.

The platform will help Christian Aid to deliver real-time, actionable insights and improve people operations across 35 countries.
