Animal charities benefit from online charity marketplace
Together for Animals is the latest charity partner to join the online shopping platform through which 7% of profits go to charity.
Online platform MyCharityMarketplace.com has just announced the addition of a new charity. The charity market place sells personalised gifts for birthdays, weddings, home and garden, with 7% of every sale going to its charity partners.
“Together For Animals is delighted to join this growing online marketplace and offer both new and existing supporters a new way to help to the animals we care for,” said Andrew Simmonds, Chair of the Board at Together For Animals.
Animal Health Trust, Blue Cross, Mayhew, SPANA and World Horse Welfare are member charities which Together for Animals raises funds for – each donation raised by Together for Animals is equally shared.

Of the platform, Lisa Dickinson, Founder of My Charity Marketplace said: “Charities simply don’t have the resources or the time to commit to an online shop, with many relying purely on donations and fundraising activity. My Charity Marketplace is an online store open 24/7, giving charities and non-profits the opportunity to fundraise 365 days a year without any extra work.”
Lisa added: “It is becoming increasingly popular to support charities at celebrations and special moments in life – My Charity Marketplace has dedicated categories for these milestones and occasions, ready to encourage people to buy and support good causes at no extra cost.”
The collective online charity shop is able to best make use of online shopping seasons, including weddings, Christmas, and peak shopping times. For many smaller charities, this best makes use of the platform’s offering without having to invest in in-house IT resources.

MyCharityMarketplace.com product range is supplied by experienced third party sellers, meaning no stock is held and charities do not have to fulfil orders – making it much easier for non-profits and schools with little resources to spend managing an online shop.
