Free charity webinar explores non-technical digital leadership

Entrepreneur Penny Power OBE joins Charity Digital News to talk about how charity leaders from a non-technical background can embed digital thinking in their organisations.

On Thursday 21st March, Charity Digital News is hosting a free lunchtime webinar for charities ‘Digital leadership for the non-technical leader.’

The latest in the series of expert-led charity webinars looks at leadership the skills and techniques that charity leaders can harness to boost productivity, online and engagement and team dynamics, without needing a technical background.

It will be hosted by entrepreneur Penny Power OBE, who will explore the four personalities that should be in a charity digital team and the tasks each should have. This model can be used when managing both staff and volunteers, helping to ensure they’re doing the tasks that empower and motivate them best.

Power has a 25-year career in technology business including founding Ecademy – the UK’s first social network for businesses and a forerunner of LinkedIn. She founded the Digital Youth Academy in 2011 and was awarded an OBE in 2013 for commitment to entrepreneurship and social digital development.’ Her book ‘Business is Personal’ looks at leadership skills and lessons from her perspective and how to ‘be the leader of your life and business’.
