Charities are being given the chance to win free ‘silent auction’ technology worth up to £4,000 for their next event, in a competition run by fundraising technology company, Givergy.

The winning charity will win a pre-event custom online auction, silent auction technology for their event including a direct donation feature and up to 150 tablets, access to Givergy’s auction item collection, and the help of three expert staff on the event day or gala evening.

Givergy helps charities and non-profits maximise their fundraising efforts online and through event technology. Their online platform Givergy.com helps charities reach a global audience, gain new donors and spread awareness of their cause through prize draws and auctions.

Their silent auction technology helps charities to run silent auctions at live fundraising events, which can be a fun, exciting and profitable way of getting guests to bid and donate more. Guests can bid on items via tablets, or use the ‘pledge’ button to make a donation.

Great Ormond Street Hospital, NSPCC, Marie Curie, Save the Children, Macmillan and Cancer Research have benefited from using Givergy’s silent auction technology at their fundraising events.

Julian Sykes, Givergy CEO said: “We’re constantly challenging ourselves to bring the best in technology to the Third Sector, and this constant evolution has enabled us to raise £250million for our charity partners across the globe through fundraising technology. We’re excited to see yet another charity benefit from using award-winning silent auction technology through this competition.”

To be entered into the prize draw, charities are being asked to provide a few details about the event they are planning or want to run and how their cause is making a difference.
