Arts charity turns to cloud for ticketing, CRM and fundraising
Cloud-based box office management and fundraising solution now has 15 Scottish arts organisations on its customer list.
Founded in 2004, APA operates three venues (including the historical His Majesty’s Theatre) with a total capacity of 3,322 audience members. The organisation had an objective to consolidate the disparate fundraising and other box office systems used across its venues.
The trust wanted to simplify operations, it said, so that its teams could have easier access to data to inform decision-making, and have more detailed understanding of their audiences.
With Spektrix, the trust has unified fundraising, CRM, ticketing, and e-commerce in one platform that provides a single view of customer needs and adds additional opportunities for value-added contact with customers to drive engagement with ticket bookers, according to Leon Gray, Head of Business Transformation at APA.

APA is the fourth Scottish arts organisation to move to the Spektrix system this year (2018), and joins an existing community of 14 other arts organisations in Scotland which use the software provider as their fundraising and box office systems provider.
