Sage donates people management software for charities
Sage’s people management software is the latest from the Sage Business Cloud suite to be made available as a donation for eligible non-profits
Accounting, payroll and payment system software provider Sage is making licenses for Sage Business Cloud People available as a donation for eligible nonprofit organisations.
The company is offering donated admin user licenses, plus 50% license contribution for all subsequent licences, for its cloud-based people management software.
Sage will be adding the people management offering to the software products already available as donations for charities from its Sage Business Cloud suite, including its cloud accounting, financial and enterprise management solutions.
The initiative comes as part of the company’s social enterprise Sage Foundation, which launched in 2015. In November 2017 the Foundation announced the launch of its Sage Foundation Enterprise Fund grants, which has given over $1 million to facilitate the growth of small nonprofits with unique ideas.
The company says that the donation will empower global nonprofits with the tools they need to keep staff and volunteers engaged.

Sage also offers industry-specific platforms such as the Sage Live Nonprofit solution which integrations with the Salesforce Nonprofit Starter Pack.
To be eligible for a 50% license contribution for Sage Business Cloud People, organisations must be registered with their local TechSoup partner – Tech Trust in the UK. They must also deliver programmes aligned with Sage Foundation’s charitable ethos.
