SofterWare webinar will boost charity social networking skills

More and more charities are using social media to help promote the work that they have been doing, as well as using it as a valuable recruitment tool.

A brand new webinar has been launched by fundraising solution firm SofterWare, helping introduce charities to the world of social media and how they can attract new supporters.

On Wednesday 13th May, SofterWare will teach everyone from charity staff and board members how to utilise social media websites.

There will be three main aspects that SofterWare hope to achieve through its webinar:

  1. To understand the true importance of social media and how to use the platform to fundraise effectively.
  2. To become proficient in three of the main social media networks – Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook.
  3. How to draw in and maintain new donors via social media whose relationship with the charity started through traditional means.

The webinar is being hosted by John Biedermann, vice president for SofterWare. With over 20 years’ experience within the non-profit sector, his webinars on utilising social media for fundraising purposes have been viewed by people across the globe.
