Feed the Children chose to outsource this function to Merkle RMG to help the organisation process donations even more quickly, accurately and efficiently, and to position the organisation to better respond to the needs of its donors. Merkle RMG provides mail processing, electronic check deposits, scanning, data entry, document imaging, and exceptions handling services.
The charity also plans to use Merkle RMG’s Arch-e image archive and retrieval tool, which will make accessing documents more efficient.
Matt Panos, Chief Development Officer for Feed the Children, said: “Keeping up with the volume of donations Feed the Children was receiving and handling them in the most cost-effective manner had become a challenge for our in-house operation. We decided to outsource donation processing to address those issues while also allowing our team to better support our mission of ending childhood hunger. Merkle Response’s strong reputation, excellent compliance record, and ability to scale made them a clear choice to be our partner in this area. Across the industry, Merkle Response is widely recognized among my peers as the best at what they do. Since the beginning of our engagement in June, Merkle Response’s performance has been exceptional and they’ve been extremely responsive to our needs. We have already seen a related increase in our fundraising capabilities and are looking forward to expanding our programs as a result.”
Bill Sayre, president of Merkle RMG, said: “We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to support Feed the Children and its important mission. Helping Feed the Children enhance their donor relationships and support their programs through efficient, accurate and secure donation processing is our top priority. Merkle RMG’s comprehensive, time-tested approach to donation processing and donor care will allow us to be an effective and long-term partner supporting Feed the Children’s battle to defeat childhood hunger.”
