Partnership allows Angry Birds addicts to give the gift of literacy

Rovio, the leading publisher of the popular Angry Birds smartphone game, has partnered with global charity Room to Read to help support its efforts to change the lives of millions of children in Asia and Africa by promoting literacy and gender equality.

When gamers log in to Angry Birds Epic, they can buy a Good Deeds coin, for $3.99 to help the cause.  The campaign runs from September 15th-28th, and Rovio will give a minimum of $1.40 to Room to Read with every purchase.
