Care for the Wild locks into internet’s cat obsession with new online film
Care for the Wild is drawing on the internet’s obsession with cats to rally support for its cause. The charity has teamed up with JWT London to launch a new online film which features animated cats performing their own version of Band Aid’s ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas.’
The cat song will be available to purchase through Bandcamp and iTunes, with all the money going towards helping endangered lions and tigers. The campaign will be supported on social media using the hashtag #CatAid.
Philip Mansbridge, the chief executive of Care for the Wild, said: “JWT have been the perfect partner in this project, having worked tirelessly to produce content that is playful and engaging. The campaign pushes the feeling of collaboration to make a change – which we love.”
