Crowdfunding campaign launched for 30 second video fundraising initiative

30 Seconds Change has launched a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo to raise money for a new innovative fundraising platform.

The platform, which launches in December, will let people raise money for their favourite charities simply by watching 30 seconds of video advertising on their mobile phone.

It provides a three-way win for charities, supporters and advertisers. Charities receive a new cost free revenue stream as well as a direct communication channel to their supporters; supporters can raise funds for their favourite charity without using their own money; and advertisers get access to an engaged, targeted and qualified audience.

30 Seconds Change founder Andrew Wilkinson said:  “Charities are sometimes forced to spend as much as 48% of their revenue on fundraising activities. The 30 Seconds Change app will provide our charity partners with an efficient, complementary funding stream, without asking their supporters to reach into their own pockets.”
