Scope launches major campaign to #EndTheAwkward

Disability charity Scope has launched a new major TV advertising and social media campaign, #EndTheAwkward, which highlights some of the uncomfortable moments that often occur around disability and how people can better approach them.

The release of the adverts coincides with a national poll, revealing that a staggering two-thirds of British people feel uncomfortable talking to disabled people.

Below is one of the three TV ads which highlights the awkward moment when someone bends down to talk to a person in a wheelchair.
