The Phone Co-op partners with Community Network

The Phone Co-op and Community Network have partnered to explore new opportunities, it has been reported.

Transferring the telephone conferencing service to The Phone Co-op will allow Community Network to focus on its charitable work using teleconferencing as a tool to bring lonely people together. The Phone Co-op will be expanding its range of services.

Angela Cairns, Chief Executive of Community Network, said: “We are very excited about our new partnership with The Phone Co-op who we are confident will build upon the success of our high quality teleconferencing service. With the service in their expert hands we can focus on our charitable efforts to combat the devastating effect loneliness and social isolation has on people’s lives.”

I think this is the right type of partnership in these difficult times. We have created a website which is a directory of local community organisations. Currently, we cover London and we are building this up into a national directory. I am interested in finding out how we can put through teleconferencing through our website. Is that possible? The benefits could be a conversation between two or more organisations about how to help an individual enquiring on our website.

Paul, this sounds a great use of teleconferencing. if you get in touch with the Teleconferencing team at Phone Co-op they will be able to talk you through the options. Email them on or give them a call on 020 3559 9000. Mention that you’ve been referred by Community Network!
