iBid sees 114% rise in charity clients
iBid, an interactive electronic platform revolutionising fundraising at silent auctions, has seen a 114% rise in the number of charities using its technology.
iBid is an interactive electronic platform revolutionising fundraising at silent auctions and live events. It allows users to browse auction items, make bids and watch the live leader board all through a tablet device. At charity events, guests can bid for auction prizes through the tablet, which is pre-programmed with guest names. iBid won the ‘Best Digital/Tech Partner – Charity Facing’ award at the Institute of Fundraising’s new ‘Partners in Fundraising Awards’ in January 2013.
Its technology is used widely in the charitable sector, with clients including the NSPCC and Macmillan Cancer Support. From April 2012 to March 2013, iBid has seen a 114% rise in the number of charities using its technology.
