In their new white paper Ethical Studios – a web development company working exclusively with non-governmental organisations (NGOs), charities and ethical companies – explores how organisations can harness the power of intelligent website design to tell their stories and attract donors.
Using two case studies this white paper illustrates how Allanblackia Partners and the Bonn Challenge utilised web platform Open Ethical to further their goals and engage their audiences.
The first organisation, Allanblackia Partners, needed a website strong enough to convince key donors to invest – and had only a week to build it. Not only was the site completed on time, but it was so successful that the resulting donations allowed significant reinvestment, funding website improvements including a storytelling template and interactive infographic functionality.
The site constructed on behalf of the Bonn Challenge is an excellent example of a larger project in which content had to directly inspire action. It promotes an ambitious project to reforest 150 million hectares by 2020 and uses Open Ethical as a base on which maps display key information at a glance and lead users on a journey that both informs and encourages action.
Both examples illustrate how Open Ethical puts organisations in control of publishing their own digital content with no hassles or delays.
