We’re a 100% focussed SMS fundraising facilitator for the charity sector. We provide the essential data to test whether offline and online advertising works in terms of raising money via the fastest growing donation medium, the mobile phone. Raising funds as a Regular Ask is the key goal of all charities, however with the increasing reluctance of givers handing out bank details or credit cards and their associated costs, we offer a simple solution for supporters to make a donation through their mobile phone, that is more cost effective to the charity than the standard money raising methods today.
Charities which do not have a mobile strategy in place or don’t use SMS to fundraise are missing a great opportunity. Check out these infographics from instaGiv which highlight how much money charities should ask donors for and the best months to run a campaign.
Here is the second part of our interview with instaGiv's Darron Mark, who told us how instaGiv is working with charities to enhance mobile giving by optimising data collection, making marketing more dynamic, improving donor communication and ultimately boosting fundraising potential.
Charity Digital News recently caught up with instaGiv's Darron Mark to talk about the latest developments in mobile charitable donations.
At the Enlighten Digital Conference on 1st May, Darron Mark from InstaGiv delivered a speech, ‘Digital strategy and fear of failing' where he discussed how digital technology should be seen as a marketing strategy.
instaGiv allowed participants to register online and promote themselves by linking to their YouTube video, with the intention of raising GBP60,000 for Cancer Research UK.
