Bidtech’s silent auction technology allows guests to bid for auction items via technology on the Apple iPad.
Bidtech’s silent auction technology helped ensure this year’s Children in Need Gala Lunch was a real hit. Event organisers claimed the iPad technology ‘made the event’, helping to raise over £17,124 for the charity.
JD Sports marketing coordinator, Joseph Simpson, said: “The Bidtech technology and assistance allowed the night to run smoothly and ensured we raised the maximum amount for a very worthy cause.”
To maximise fundraising efforts during its annual Gala Dinner, Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) worked in partnership with fundraising technology company, Bidtech. Utilising its innovative event technology, the Charity managed to raise a record £48,000.
Research taken from an iPad app created by BidTech has revealed that memorabilia attached to celebrities such as Andy Murray, One Direction and Pele are the most popular in charity auctions.
