Morrisons, Santander and Vodafone have announced that they will be the appeal partners for ITV's annual charity fundraiser, Text Santa. They will support the campaign and help raise money at stores across the UK.
Organisers said: "There has also been an unfortunate lack of support from the wider tech community in terms of sponsorship funds and to help us publicise and promote the event to a wider audience.”
PR agency Aberfield Communications has responded to a report by New Philanthropy Capital which found that many UK charities are failing to fully engage with their supporters through social media by not posting enough photos and videos online.
Director of Ploink!, Mark Simpson said: “Mobile devices are now the way people choose to interact with each other and the world, so we wanted to create an app that made most of the device and gave users something fun to use and show to their friends.”
