An IT and communication company based in Swansea has helped a branch of the RSPCA save a substantial amount of its vital funds through an offering that sees them slashing IT system costs.
Llys Nini Animal Centre has received the help from SA1 Solutions, which has provided the charity with a Microsoft Office 365 Non-profits plan. The plan effectively offers a free mail server with online cloud storage, corporate social networking, instant messaging (IM), intranet and video conferencing capabilities via Skype.
Llys Nini, located in Penllergaer, is an independently registered charity affiliated to the RSPCA but is not funded by the organisation. The Non-profits plan provided by SA1 Solutions has therefore enabled the charity to save a considerable amount of money on IT and communication services, allowing more funds to be spent on the welfare of the thousands of animals it cares for each year.
Gary Weeks, Animal Centre Manager, commented: “Having the Microsoft Office 365 plan in place has really helped how we function at Llys Nini. It has helped streamline all our planning, improved our productivity and has made the day-to-day running of the animal centre so much easier.
“It’s reassuring for us to know that we have received this at no extra cost, which means we can save on the funds we require to continue to help animals in need.”
