The 2017 edition of The Gathering, the UK’s biggest third sector event, is now less than three weeks away.
Key themes for 2017 include Brexit and the third sector, digital participation and funding.
Once again the event, which takes place at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC) on 22 and 23 Febraury, will kick off with a special address from the First Minister of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon MSP.
There’s a bustling exhibition and marketplace with more than 100 exhibitors, alongside a packed programme of events featuring more than 50 workshops, seminars and training sessions.
Big names in tech
On the digital technology front, some of the world’s biggest technology firms are lined up to participate. There will also be a digital technology zone in the exhibition space.
The digital events will feature experts from the likes of Google, Skyscanner and Technology Trust, amongst others, who have all agreed to share their ideas, skillsets and secrets to help third sector organisations.
More information about the event, including the many sessions that will be taking place over the two days and details of how to book your place can be found on the event’s website.
