JustGiving has announced that it is working on a new contactless payment app for charities – and it’s looking for partners to test it.
The TapDonate app has been developed along with specialist blood cancer charity Bloodwise and will help charities to capitalise on the growing use of contactless payments.
The app, which is still in development, will be made available to charity test partners to download to a tablet or phone, which they can then easily customise with their own branded content. It’s then connected with one touch to a PayPal Here card reader to enable a cashless donation to be processed in seconds.
JustGiving says it’s on the hunt for a few enthusiastic, fast-moving charities to help them experiment with this exciting technology.
