Small Charity Week, which takes place from 13-18 June, has taken to social media to encourage the public to donate more via small charities across the UK to help raise their profile.
The campaign, complete with #Ilovesmallcharities hashtag, calls upon fans of small charities to post photos to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with messages of support in exchange for up to £450 in cash prizes.
Supporters can also pledge their support for small charities by signing up to the ‘Thunderclap’ – a platform that lets individuals and companies rally people together to spread a message. The platform will post a message of support on your behalf and help drive awareness of small charities across the UK.
