Heart of England Forest is preparing its attempt to plant 10,000 trees in a single day on 2nd November and has launched the #treesfortrees campaign to raise funds and highlight the dearth of trees in English forests.
The campaign asks people to send in photos or drawings of what trees mean to them, with Heart of England Forest and its campaign partner Dennis Publishing planting a tree for every image received.
This launch video, featuring a cute forest-loving girl was launched today and is hoping to give the campaign a boost in advance of the big planting day on Monday.
