Chideo, a charity broadcast network which connects celebrities with their fans, has partnered with Sinclair Broadcast Group to expand its reach by 42 million households.
Sinclair will connect its broadcast and digital audience with Chideo’s inspirational and entertaining content – all to benefit the world’s leading charities. Sinclair’s 161 local television stations will provide much-needed public awareness for these causes, as well as direct financial support from the sale of advertising and sponsorships around Chideo’s rich collection of exclusive content from more than 100 celebrity ambassadors.
Chideo Founder and CEO Todd Wagner said: “As we build this charity network, our focus is to bring as much awareness as possible to important issues affecting millions of people worldwide, which makes Sinclair a perfect partner to help distribute our call-to-action. Sinclair is one of the strongest station groups in the country, and we are excited to leverage their extensive network to increase our impact.”
David Amy, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Sinclair Broadcast Group said: “At Sinclair we are committed to innovation and to creating more meaningful connections with our audience, which is why we are very excited about the relationship with Chideo. We believe our reach and branding capabilities will be able to increase awareness and dollars for Chideo’s respective missions.”
