IT experts Technology Services Group (TSG) has partnered with the British Heart Foundation (BHF) in the charity’s fight against heart disease.
Following an internal selection process TSG has chosen to support the BHF and the life-saving research it funds for the next three years.
With over 400 staff in their offices across the UK, TSG hope to raise as much as possible for the charity whilst also educating colleagues about the steps taken to prolong their own lives and how to save others.
David Stonehouse, TSG’s Chief Executive said: “We’re delighted to help such a great cause in the British Heart Foundation as well as use their resources to help provide our staff with a healthy and great place to work.”
TSG staff will be encouraged to get behind BHF’s fundraising campaigns such as “Wear It. Beat it.” and the autumn stock donation campaign “Bag it. Beat it”. Each office will also be developing a calendar of events to raise funds.
Dan McNally, BHF Fundraising Manager said: “We were thrilled when we heard that TSG staff had voted us their chosen charity. Heart disease has touched us all in some way, so by raising money and awareness, their support will be vital to helping us beat heart disease.”
