Comic Relief partners with Capen to create innovative prize-draw websites

Digital lottery specialists, Capen Consultants, have collaborated with Comic Relief to develop innovative prize-draw websites for a number of the charity’s corporate partners.

Each prize draw microsite has been customised to make it unique for that corporate partner. Comic Relief are is running a ‘hero’ prize draw for the general public, to win a Toyota Auris which was specially created for Red Nose Day.

Capen provides the platform that powers the campaign, with payment facilitated by their proprietary widget. The Capen 2.0 widget allows charities anywhere to take payments on their own website for campaigns without coming into scope for PCI DSS.  Capen takes care of building donation and game forms, validating supporter input, and securing supporters’ card data.  Supporters never have to leave the charity websites.
