The Fundraising Initiatives group, provider of specialist individual giving services, has acquired telephone fundraising and outsourcing agency R Fundraising.
The move sees the group’s services and extensive charity client base benefiting from unique products and techniques that offer proven supporter retention rates; while the group’s telephone-based fundraising and stewardship capacity will increase by 200+ professional fundraisers, with offices in Dunfermline and Manchester.
R Fundraising will continue to operate under its own leadership team with no disruption to its clients’ business continuity. This addition to the Fundraising Initiatives group will lead to further improved client and donor experience and the enhancement of the overall product and service offering to the charity sector – from specialist face-to-face fundraising and stewardship services through to lotteries, payroll giving and payment processing.
Hugh McCaw, Fellow of the Institute of Fundraising and founder of R Fundraising, will assume the role of Director, Strategic Accounts. He says: “Fundraising Initiatives is the right choice for our clients and us. We remain an autonomous culture and brand. The organisations complement each other and I am sure that will become more evident to the sector going forward. I am personally delighted to remain in the business as I can continue to serve charities and innovate as I have done in the past.”
