Plan UK has launched a new app, Face Up, which aims to raise awareness of female genital mutilation (FGM), sexual violence and child marriage.
Supporters download an image of their face within the app which becomes digitally imprinted with the words “I’m putting girl rights where they can’t be ignored” and shared on the #FaceUP album.
The app already has support from a number of celebrities including Game of Thrones actors Natalie Dormer and Lena Headey.
