24-year-old Chloe Dungate has been announced as the winner of Save the Children’s #Vlog4Good project and the new host for their YouTube channel.
Chloe, whose self-produced animated videos have already amassed thousands of views online, will be handed editorial control of Save the Children’s YouTube platform for the next year, producing engaging and original content on a weekly basis.
The #Vlog4Good project is a first of its kind for the charity sector and cements social media as a key focus of Save the Children’s digital strategy.
Linda McBain, head of digital marketing at Save the Children, said: “We are thrilled to be welcoming Chloe into the Save the Children family and excited to see her reinvent our YouTube channel. Chloe is the perfect candidate to engage a new generation of supporters in Save the Children’s work – and continue our legacy of producing bold digital content on social platforms. The judges – and the public – loved her original videos and we can’t wait to see how Chloe brings her fantastic video, animation and storytelling skills to this new role.”
