From 18th-19th September, Sayer Vincent, the leading UK charity accounting and auditing firm, is jointly hosting the 23rd annual Charity Accountants’ Conference in Bristol with independent charity, the Directory of Social Change (DSC).
The conference will look at the most important issues affecting charities today. Key conference topics include the new charity SORP, ways to run the charity finance function more efficiently, managing the year end, making VAT simple, preventing and managing fraud and how to use social media effectively. There will also be sessions covering issues such as pensions and management skills.
Kate Sayer, partner at Sayer Vincent said: “This is a must-attend event for charity accountants and this year promises to be better than ever with some first-class speakers covering important and interesting issues.”
