Xperedon, the global fundraising platform, is offering charities their own e-commerce solution, which is free to sign up to and comes with built-in payment processing..
The online shops give charities the chance to generate funds from their own goods or recruit third-party suppliers and earn commission. Charities can embed their shops into their own websites, Facebook pages and blogs.
David Hallett, CEO of Xperedon, said: “The platform provides a distinctive approach for suppliers, where products are showcased in the general search, alongside others, but each also have their own online shop complete with blogging, media, and social tools.”
Xperedon does not charge charities either a registration fee or monthly charges to set up and operate a charity shop but charges a commission on sales generated via the platform. It charges charities a commission of 12.5% on the sale price of items sold via the platform. Where a supplier is recruited by a charity, Xperedon pays 2.5% of the sale price to the charity on all sales.
Hallett added: “Charities new to commerce can ask suppliers to stock their shops to get started, and start earning commission. Charities with existing shops can consolidate online with one smart e-commerce solution. This is an advanced and proven e-commerce solution that involves no registration fee, and no monthly charges for charities. Getting started with Xperedon Charity Shops is quick and easy. A simple registration process and you can be up and running in minutes.”
