In a bid to keep its staff up-to-date with news, the Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) has turned to cloud-based platform NewsLark.
Staff can contribute articles to the CCT site and follow other staff members as well as topics that are relevant to their work. Automated email digests – tailored to each individual – are sent out twice a week.
Linda Maynard, Knowledge & Information Management Officer for the CCT said: “In a world of Twitter, where news travels in seconds and everyone is a potential source, the email newsletter starts to look a bit out-of-date. To keep everyone informed we wanted something that all staff could access and contribute to whenever and however they like, and wherever they are.”
Catrin Rees Ferreira, Resources & Administration Manager for the CCT said: “Every charity has a responsibility to focus resources on the charitable work itself. As an easy-to-use, affordable platform with no set-up required, NewsLark was a responsible choice.”
