Specialist fundraising firm Bidtech has donated two bursaries of £4000 worth of technology to London’s Air Ambulance and the T2T2T Charity in aid of ABF: The Soldiers‘ Charity.
The two charities will receive the use of Bidtech’s digital fundraising tools at their events, including up to 250 iPads, smartphone bidding, payment processing and a full event support team.
The challenge highlighted how charities can use social media to rally supporters. There were 4,000 shares, likes and comments during the month from the supporters of the 20 charities that took part in the challenge and over 300,000 Facebook users were reached.
Paul Beck, CEO at Bidtech said, “We were really impressed by the support that all the charities received from the Challenge. The T2T2T Charity and London’s Air Ambulance are very deserved winners. We hope that our service and fundraising expertise will help increase the charities’ revenue on the night of their event and improve their fundraising effectiveness in the future with data collected on the iPads. Thank you to all the charities that entered, we hope that we can work with you in the future.”
