Health care charity The King’s Fund has launched a Vine advent calendar in a move to raise awareness of health and social care issues in the run up to Christmas.
From 1st-24th December, the charity will release one Vine video each day via its Twitter account @thekingsfund. Each Vine will highlight a fact about health and social care such as health needs of older people or the number of people spending Christmas day in hospital.
Head of Digital Communications at The King’s Fund, Katie Mantell, said: “We wanted to do something that would draw attention to our health policy research and leadership work over the past year – but in a new and entertaining way. To our knowledge this is the first time that anyone has launched a Vine advent calendar. We hope people will enjoy this light-hearted approach to spreading some important health and social care messages.”
