TomTom is donating over 500 sat navs to Help the Hospices in a move to assist its staff who travel miles to reach terminally ill patients in their homes. Hospices will be able to claim up to three TomTom sat navs each on a first-come first-served basis.
Ann Francis, Corporate Social Responsibility Programme Director at TomTom, said: “TomTom is all about movement. Our aim is to make it easier for people to keep moving to achieve their goals. Through our product donation programme TomTom donates navigation products to charitable organisations that use vehicles as part of their daily operation, where those vehicles are vital to help save or enhance lives.
“We are delighted that TomTom products will be used by hospices around the UK to support them in achieving their goals and to support the valuable work they do to enhance the lives of patients and families.”
