£1,000 up for grabs through eBay for Charity competition

This September, one UK charity will receive £1,000 of funding from eBay for Charity as it  runs a competition to mark the raising of over £50 million for charities since its 2006 launch.

If someone donates through eBay for Charity this month, they will be entered into the prize draw to win £1,000 for their selected charity and £500 for themselves.

Charities listed in the eBay directory are eligible to enter before the 30th September.

I never realized Ebay had a charity division! It actually inspired me to check them out as an actual company (http://jobs.ebaycareers.com/) previously I only considered the site for my own buying and selling. Nice to see that an internet based giant still has a focus on people and relationships.
