Leading enterprise mobile engagement company, OpenMarket, has announced its work with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) Mobile Giving Foundation in the United States to support SMS donations to charities.
The partnership has supported mobile giving programmes for national and local non-profits in the US this year, ranging from disaster response to funding cancer research.
OpenMarket’s cloud-based messaging platform aids the secure sending of SMS campaigns to ensure successful delivery to all donors and recipients. Its mobile network infrastructure allows BBB to process high volumes of text messages.
Jay Emmet, General Manager of OpenMarket, said: “The BBB Mobile Giving Foundation is constantly looking for better ways to empower non-profits and advance their efforts with mobile technology. SMS donations are an excellent example of the immediate impact that mobile messaging can have on peoples’ lives, and OpenMarket ensures that these critical messages and funds are sent and received easily and reliably.”
