In a move to help 30,000 small UK charities improve their online presence and fundraising techniques, Google teamed up with Charity Technology Trust (CTT) and the Media Trust to create an initiative, ‘Grow Your Charity Online.’
The initiative will be holding regular weekly webinars for charities which are looking to improve their digital skills. We will be promoting them in the Event’s section of our website so do check it regularly for upcoming sessions. The webinars will cover a wide range of topics, including email marketing, social media, analytics, mobile and YouTube.
The next webinar ‘G+ Hangout: Getting started with Adwords – account structure’ will be held on Wednesday 10th July between 12.30 and 1pm. The session intends to help charities understand how to build an account which mirrors their services. It will also highlight the difference between campaigns, AdGroups and Keywords.

But recent research by the IoF has revealed that just 7% of charities with a corporate fundraising programme feel that it is “fully developed”. With this in mind, Virgin Money Giving is hosting a series of free live events between 5th and 7th October to help charities grow their corporate fundraising.
