Amy’s House, a children’s charity based in Sheffield, has launched a direct payments brokerage service and revamped its website. The new scheme will significantly reduce the amount of paperwork and lessen the hassle involved with direct payments.
The charity has also recently re-launched its website in a marketing drive to raise awareness of its cause, aiming to bring in more supporters and donations. The site contains further information on the direct payments scheme. It also has a specialised member’s area where people can read up on government policy about children with special needs and an online forum where parents can gain additional support.
