Many charities have yet to make the most of fundraising through Facebook, UK Fundraising reports in a recent article. Online fundraising solutions provider Artez Interactive, which works closely with Rapidata, has published research, ‘Fundraising with Facebook,’ to demonstrate Facebook’s impact on fundraising.
It was found that Facebook users are more likely to donate than Twitter users; 90% of traffic from social media users visiting donation pages comes from Facebook and 5% from Twitter. In addition, 14% of web traffic to donation pages on the Artez Interactive platform is from Facebook.
