Manchester based The Christie Charity is using Blackbaud Links to reduce time spent integrating data and improving its quality, it has been reported. Data from JustGiving can be downloaded straight on to the charity’s CRM system, The Raiser’s Edge.
Carol Frain, The Christie charity’s database development manager, said: “JustGiving data is very important for us, but we were spending too long on importing it to our CRM system and we were getting a lot of inaccuracies. It is now an incredibly simple process taking half the time it did before. Management and finance are happy with the more accurate reporting and the events team relish the opportunity to begin engaging with participants earlier.”
“Blackbaud Links is a quicker, easier and more effective way to process and manage our JustGiving data. It frees up the IT team to work elsewhere and is intuitive enough that the events team learned how to use it almost immediately. It’s a fundraiser’s tool and has been a real asset to our organisation already.”
