A UK charity supporting blind and partially sighted people, Guide Dogs, has hired PR consultancy firm Third City to support its Guide Dogs Week which runs from October 5th-13th. The awareness week acts as a means of raising awareness and driving donations. This year, the charity has raised its ambitions and plans to work with Third City to deliver its bold and creative ideas.
Jayne George, Director of Fundraising and Marketing at Guide Dogs said: “Guide Dogs Week is a major focus of our fundraising and communications activity and we are raising our sights higher still this year. Our mission is to get people who are visually impaired out and about, Guide Dogs Week is a great opportunity to engage new and loyal supporters with the difference that Guide Dogs’ services make to their lives.”
