Homeless Link, a charity which supports homeless people in the UK, has worked with cloud app platform salesforce.com to develop a customised CRM solution, In-Form.
Head of In-Form, Jane Finucane, said: “Building a bespoke cloud-based application has transformed the way our partners work. It has streamlined processes, gives access to real-time information, enables more sophisticated support plans to be developed and reduces administration.”
Case workers are able to log in to access records remotely, because the system is cloud based. It also has the ability to extract real time data and create graphical representations to demonstrate outcomes in a more engaging way.
Homeless link believes that the CRM system has great potential to target homelessness. Finucane said: “The opportunities are endless, and we are already working with our partners to see how they can make full use of the application. Identifying and matching clients with vacancies in local hostels is one key area, for example. We also see huge potential in mobile as the workflow system could be used to send SMS reminders to clients about appointments, as well as a dedicated app for case workers to provide even more efficient support to our clients. We are really excited about the future.”
