Innovative proposals expected for Do-it volunteer database

Bids are now open for YouthNet’s volunteering database website, Do-it, it has been reported on YouthNet made the decision to pass the site on in March.

Bidders should demonstrate how they will actively continue the service. Bids close on 8th July 2013. For more information and an application pack click here.

Minister for civil society Nick Hurd said: “Do-it is an important asset for the voluntary sector. We want to make sure that it not only continues, but seizes the many opportunities that digital technology, social media and open data create for the sector. We look forward to receiving some innovative proposals.”
