Now in its fourth year running, the 2013 DoGooder Video Awards recognise the best use of video for social good. The competition was run by See3 Communications and the Nonprofit Technology Network (NTEN), with videos broadcast on YouTube. Almost 1,000 videos were submitted during the competition. Winners will receive GBP3,500 worth of prizes from Cisco, free registration to NTEN’s Nonprofit Technology Conference in 2014 and a place on the YouTube Spotlight.
The winners are:
1. Best Non-Profit Video Award – The Rainforest Alliance for its ‘Follow the Frog’ campaign.
2. Change Agent Award – Raf Bauer for his ‘Back on My Feet’ campaign for women with ovarian cancer.
3. Best Non-Profit Video Award – Pathfinder International for its ‘No joke. Choice matters. Everywhere’ campaign.
4. Impactx Award – Sabin Vaccine Institute for its END7 campaign and ‘How to shock a celebrity’ video.

With this in mind, Virgin Money Giving is hosting a series of free live events between 5th and 7th October to help charities grow their corporate fundraising.
