On Wednesday 20th March, the Institute of Fundraising (IoF) will be holding an event in London to look at how charities can make the most of digital. Experts will be on hand to discuss current trends, Google Analytics and available tools for charities to enhance their practices. Case studies will be presented to demonstrate each topic.
One of the speakers will be digital and social media expert, Bertie Bosrédon, who created the British Heart Foundation’s first online team and fundraising strategy. He has also worked with Breast Cancer Care, developing a strong social media presence.
Charities believe corporate fundraising is a key growth area. But recent research by the IoF has revealed that just 7% of charities with a corporate fundraising programme feel that it is “fully developed”. With this in mind, Virgin Money Giving is hosting a series of free live events between 5th and 7th October to help charities grow their corporate fundraising.
