On Thursday 21st March from 4pm – 6pm, Matt Collins, freelance digital marketer, who assists charities in achieving their goals through training in social media, analytics and digital strategy, will be hosting an event for charity CEOs.
Social media has transformed how charities communicate with their supporters. The event, ‘No Time to Tweet’ is free for charity chief executives, so those who still don’t understand the impact that Twitter can have are encouraged to attend.
Matt Collins will discuss the global impact that social media has had on charities. Simon Blake from sexual health charity, Brook, and Gracia McGrath from intervention mentoring charity, Chance UK, will also provide case studies of how social media has benefited their organisations.
Charities believe corporate fundraising is a key growth area. But recent research by the IoF has revealed that just 7% of charities with a corporate fundraising programme feel that it is “fully developed”. With this in mind, Virgin Money Giving is hosting a series of free live events between 5th and 7th October to help charities grow their corporate fundraising.
